Crooked Forest is more than just my super cool blog to read about new and emerging artists; I’m also a meticulous audio engineer and musician passionate about helping bring your creative ideas to life. I started working in recording studios when I was 17 and well, there’s no place like home, Toto.
If you’re looking for music production, audio engineering, mixing, mastering or session playing, I’d love to chat about what you’re looking for.
If you need a photographer to come out and shoot your live show, I’d be thrilled to assist there, as well.
Music Production, Mixing & Mastering
There’s a lot you can do yourself these days, but there’s a reason the pro’s still prefer to work with great producers, engineers, mixing and mastering engineers to bring their ideas to life; a fresh set of ears can make all the difference and you can create great things you might never have thought of when you collaborate with others.
Whether you’re trying to write your first song and require instrumentation or you’ve already put all the nuts and bolts together but need a clean mix and master, I’d love to hear what you’re working on and see where I can help.
Cost:
- $100CAD per song mix only
- $100CAD per song master only
- $150CAD per song mix & master
- $100CAD per recording/arrangement for session playing (guitar, bass, drums, piano/keys or virtual midi instrumentation)
Live Sound
While a lot of venues have their own in-house sound engineer, bringing your own sound tech can help ensure you’re confident that there’s someone in your corner from the moment you hit the stage until you’re off of it.
Plus, nothing is as much of a bummer as chatting with the crowd afterwards only to find out the stage mix wasn’t up to par and no one could hear you wail out that sick solo, or that you couldn’t hear yourselves well enough in your monitors causing you to strain your voice for a straight hour. I’ve been there!
Cost:
Dependent on the needs of your gig(s). Reach out and we’ll chat!
Photography
This is a brand new offering and right now I’ll come out free of charge as long as a ticket to the show is included.
If you’re Toronto or the GTA. Let me know when you’re playin’!
