Get A Life is the 4th studio album by Toronto-based punk-rock outfit Goodnight Sunrise led by Vanessa Vakharia (keytar, vocals) and David Kochberg (guitar, vocals).
Released by Rejection Records, it’s a high-energy, melody-driven 8-track anthemic album that explores feelings of inadequacy, jealousy, social pressures and finding the strength to drown out the negativity that plagues us from living full, happy lives.
Per the duo, “GET A LIFE is a message to both our outer and inner worlds, a manifesto about finding peace in a chaotic world by letting go of things you can’t control and people that aren’t worth your time.”
Undoubtedly you will find something that resonates within it’s fast-burning 23 minutes – and you’re kidding yourself if you think you’re going to do it without headbanging along like you’re at Warped Tour ’04.
