I can’t talk up Sammy Obeid enough. I stumbled upon him one day on Threads and I’ve been keeping a close eye ever since and not because I fear for his safety.

If you’re unfamilar with Sammy Obeid, he’s a Palestinian stand-up comic who has had more than a few words to say about the ongoing warzone that is Gaza and the genocide of Palestinian peoples. He talks about other stuff, too, but if you have particular feelings about Palestine this might not be for you. That said, I think you should watch it anyways because maybe you’ll gain a new perspective on it all and learn some empathy or something.

His new special Social Justice Jihadi recorded at Cobb’s Comedy Club in San Fransisco is available now on his YouTube page and if it wasn’t clear already, I recommend it.
