In today’s “bet you didn’t see this coming!” release we see Neither Could Dylan teaming up with Maneframe for a infectious pop-punk schoolkid-crush bop titled Hey, Wait (I Wanna Show You Something)

This collaboration began on Threads over a mutual appreciation for pop-punk. Maneframe already had the instrumental framework in place before bringing the track to Neither Could Dylan who penned off some lyrics and recorded the vocals for what became “Hey, Wait”.

After a quick back and fourth, the track was ready to be mixed and mastered (also by NCD) and sent off to distribution.

“It’s weird how quickly you can go from a quick conversation on an app like Threads to a full blown track, but this one came together so quickly because Maneframe already had such a great foundation for me to write to,” said Dylan. “It’s not a really complicated story, it’s just about having a deep crush on someone and wanting to spend more time getting to know them, but you’re too nervous to even do that so you fumble your way through every interaction with them.”
