Explained in a tweet by MC S.I.N on May 25th, the Woodcrest EP is “A musical exploration of the mindsets of the 3 main characters from The Boondocks. Prod. entirely by & overall inspired by @epikthedawn, badass cover art by @MrsFryzArt & mixed by @StraticBeats“.

But it was this tweet by Limnetic Villains (@LimneticV) that really got our attention on the release who said, “Oh man, this is great. Deep and dark, rhymes are great, vocals sound brilliant, instruments – almost a classic 90s RZA -style, bit of a flashy Tony Hawks soundtrack, b-baller thing going on too. Man, I love it. Stylish.”

And we really couldn’t describe it any better.
