It could be said that we use the phrase new music release pretty liberally around here. This one’s brand new to us but it arrived on the ether on June 22nd 2022.
Dubbed the shiniest rock and roll band in the galaxy, today we’re pleased to feature the latest music video by Canadian celestial darlings Hot Apollo for their pop-infused track “Baby Lord”.
Vocally, lead singer Jaymes Buckman from Toronto, Ontario teeters between Joe Strummer and Joey Ramone on this track, but rhythmically his dance moves take us straight to Mick Jagger or Morrissey; The music of course is a cosmic twist that sets us off on an intergalactic journey where soul and body collide in a beautiful entrancing nebula circled by mystical fawns and electric bunnies, which is to say it’s all rock and roll.
