Fresh from the inbox, check out the latest single by Toronto-based singer-songwriter Deadly Alfano with “Shelter”.
“Shelter” marks the beginning of a new chapter for Deadly Alfano, drawing from a wide range of cultural and musical influences while remaining rooted in the tradition of the singersongwriter.
Blending acoustic songwriting with elements of folk, rock, world music and atmospheric soundscapes, “Shelter” introduces an artist whose music explores connection, humanity, spirituality and the search for meaning in an increasingly fragmented world.
At its heart, Shelter is a song that advocates for putting one’s own well-being above all else and finding ways to escape from day-to-day stressors. Through intimate songwriting and an expansive sonic palette, the track creates a space that feels both personal and universal—an invitation to pause, reflect and find refuge in the things that connect us.
